TTP Tractor Protection Valve Normally Mounts At The Rear Of The Truck Cab. It Is Controlled By A Dash Mounted Switch That Terminates The Air Supply To The Trailer And Is Most Often Used When Disconnecting The Trailer. In Emergency Situations Such As A Trailer Break-Away Or Whenever There Is Severe Leakage Of Air In The Air Brake System, The Valve Serves To Protect The Remaining Air Supply.
